Notary Statement
There are many benefits to becoming an online notary.
There are many different types of notary statements that may be conducted by a notary public as part of their notarial services. These statements are used for different purposes and help both notaries and businesses conduct lawful transactions. It is always important to keep any notary statements that you have for your records as they are official documents.
The most common types of notary statements are
- Acknowledgements: a formal declaration made by a person to a notary that they are signing a document of their own will and volition
- Oaths: a promise or declaration to the truth or a statement or to perform an act faithfully and truthfully
- Depositions: a involuntary, sworn statement to be used when a witness can not be present
- Affidavits: a voluntary, sworn statement
- Certificates: a notary authorizes that the certificate is a valid and accurate copy of an official document
